State Day Awards will be presented during lunch on Saturday.  Nominations are due by June 1, 2024. Email Jill Mannino Peck, Alumnae Experience Specialist, at jmpkd98@gmail.com with your nominations.

"Most Loyal Kappa Delta Alumnae Award" - This award was first presented in 1983. It is designed to honor a Kappa Delta who has made multiple, outstanding contributions to Kappa Delta through leadership and service to an alumnae chapter. Emphasis should be placed on her Kappa Delta involvement in Texas and the length of time she has served Kappa Delta as an alumna.

"Texas AOT Award" - This award was first presented in 2014. It is designed to honor the sorority work of one or more Kappa Deltas who, with little recognition, have demonstrated outstanding, continued achievements in support of at least one sorority collegiate chapter, alumnae chapter, or alumnae panhellenic association in the State of Texas. It is designed to honor members who have worked for the sorority in a “behind the scenes” role in their activities on behalf of Kappa Delta. The nominees may or may not live in an area with an active alumnae chapter.

"Recognized Young Kappa Delta Alumna Award" - This award was designed to honor young Kappa Delta alumnae—35 years of age or younger—who have made outstanding contributions to Kappa Delta through leadership and service in an alumnae chapter, and to encourage their continued participation in Kappa Delta. Emphasis should be placed on her Kappa Delta involvement in Texas. Nominations must come from an Alumnae Chapter (AC). Each AC will be limited to two nominees. Up to three RYKDs may be selected, but no more than two awardees can be selected from any one AC. An alumna may receive this award only one time.

ChildSafe Art Supply Collection: Attendees are invited to bring supplies for ChildSafe's urgent needs, which include stuffed animals (Teddy Bears!) and "Coping Kits" which help clients tell their stories, express their feelings, and help them on a path to healing. Items requested include coloring books, bubbles or Play-Doh, pens, stickers, and journals.

A Silent Auction and Kendra Scott pop-up shop will help raise funds for scholarships for the Kappa Delta Foundation. Alumnae Chapters are invited to bring a basket with items for the silent auction. Please email satxkd@gmail.com with your basket's description, approximate value, and a photograph of your basket/item.
